I have been in community radio since I was 15 in Hobart where I started by putting the other announcers records and carts away until I finally got my shot of being an announcer myself. I moved to the Gold Coast, worked as a mid-dawn announcer for Sea Fm and drove the black thunder around, good times!
Move 25 years on and having learned lots of life lessons, I got back into volunteering for community radio with Bridge Fm, starting as the receptionist, working my back on air, and becoming the Vice President on the board of directors in 2018 to present.
