Redcliffe Hospital is not just part of the Moreton Bay community.
It is the heart of our community.
What is a Giving Day?
Redcliffe Hospital Giving Day is a major fundraising campaign being held on Wednesday October 13, in partnership with Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) Foundation.
Redcliffe Hospital Giving Day is an opportunity to make our hospital even better by supporting
life-changing hospital-led health research, evidence-based patient care, health education, innovative equipment and other initiatives.
Potential projects include the appointment of a Senior Researcher, refurbishment of the Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Units to create a ‘homely’ environment for patients and visitors, Wellbeing programs for staff and a bereavement room within Women’s and Newborn Services.
How can you help?
The Moreton Bay community is being encouraged to support their local healthcare heroes by donating to the appeal, sending a message of support to staff for display on the Redcliffe Hospital Gratitude Tree, becoming a Giving Day fundraiser themselves, and sharing the Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital Facebook posts.
Every dollar donated to Giving Day by October 13 will be doubled, thanks to the generosity of major corporate and community donors, kicked off by BallyCara, GKS Law, and The Komo and The Belvedere hotels.
Bridge FM, Channel 7, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Domino’s, Redcliffe RSL, Rotary Redcliffe Sunrise and Holistic Horizons Support Services have also embraced the opportunity to partner with the appeal through major donations, raising awareness or fundraising efforts.
