The local community are invited to yet another FREE event at St Peter the Fisherman Anglican Church, 13 Lucinda St, Clontarf on Saturday December 18 from 3pm till 6pm.

Families, young and young at heart, will experience the joys of the Christmas spirit with fun, games, art, craft and activities.

Christmas stalls will sell seasonal baking, such as cakes, biscuits, puddings, chutneys and relishes to go with your Christmas ham feasts.  A Christmas themed craft stall will display table decorations and other items for those last minute gifts.

A Sausage Sizzle can fill those tummies and there will be games, with prizes, for the children.

A Mr Whippy ice cream van will be nearby.

Throughout the afternoon Bits and Pieces Band will be playing live music and Sharon Allback Dancers will entertain you with Christmas songs.

At 5pm there will be a Christmas tableau where the younger ones can join in as kings, angels and shepherds in the Nativity scene, complete with props and sing away with carols and happy Christmas songs. Ring your jingle bells and watch out Rudolf!

Naturally, a Christmas Street Party would not be fun without a special visitor, creating a lot of “hohoho,” arriving in style at 5.45pm, with something for all children!

Any funds raised from the voluntary donation buckets will be given to local Domestic Violence  Refuges.

The event is Covid safe with approved planning
