Australian Red Cross – Lifeblood – Urgent Call for Blood Donors.
The Australian Red Cross ‘Lifeblood’, urgently needs people to donate blood to
boost stocks of blood and also platelets, which are used to stop bleeding in
accidents, emergencies and chemotherapy.
Blood stocks are under pressure as floods, road closures, colds and flu as well as
covid, keeping many donors at home, with NSW particularly hit hard.
